NOW: "O2C-OF" for measurement of blood flow and "O2C" in combination with
oxygen saturation and hemoglobin amount
LEA Medizintechnik realizes with OptoFlow its product
philosophy of non invasive, pain free diagnostics. OptoFlow was developed
for blood flow measurements in the microcirculation and allows microcirculatory
diagnostic without any stress for the patient.
In combination with the technique of AbTisSpec a new
device was developed that measures all oxygen supply parameter simultaneously
with one probe and was called O2C(oxygen to see): measurement of blood
flow, oxygen saturation and hemoglobin amount in one device.
For blood flow measurement alone now the O2C
variation O2C-OF is available.
O2C-OF combines the Laser-Doppler technique with a spectroscopic
method to obtain quantifiable data of skin and hypodermic tissue perfusion.
Examinations in every day hospital routine or specific medical problems
as well as the control of a dose effect relation, e.g. while applying vasoactive
pharmaceuticals are easy to perform with this non-invasive, painless and
reproducible technique.
Depthselective Measurement of Microcirculation
O2C-OF was optimised to measure the movement of the
erythrocytes in the capillaries, arterioles and venules and small vessels.
O2C-OF measures simultaneously in up to 2 different tissue depths the perfusion
parameters.
Range of Application

localisation of arteriosclerotic areas
-
recognition of microangiopathy in diabetic patients
-
observation of arterial vasomotion
-
control of perfusion and microcirculation during and after organ transplantation
-
monitoring of the sympathetic nervous System during regional anaesthesia
-
